Police Arrest Two Suspects in Double Murder Case in Mitooma District

Police in Mitooma District are holding two suspects in connection with the murder of a 7-year-old boy and his mother, while a third suspect remains on the run.

The tragic incident occurred at the victims’ residence in Mayanga D Village, Mayanga Sub-County, Mitooma District.

The suspects, identified as Brain Kuribuba, Ben Tashobya and Milton, are alleged to have strangled  Susan Kiconco and her son, Ahereza Blaise, as they slept in their home on the night of November 20, 2024.

Following the incident, the suspects fled the scene. However, police efforts to trace them intensified after deploying a K9 unit to the crime scene, which led to the capture of two of the suspects.

Investigations are ongoing as police continue to search for the third suspect to ensure justice for the victims and their family.
