NRM Supporters in Luwero Mobilize for Museveni’s Election Campaign Launch

Luwero, Uganda – Supporters of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) in Luwero District turned out in large numbers today to show their support ahead of President Yoweri Museveni’s upcoming election campaign launch this afternoon.
The gathering, organized by local NRM leaders, drew residents from several sub-counties including Bombo, Wobulenzi, and Luwero Town Council. Party leaders praised the high turnout and encouraged residents to participate actively in the campaign period.
Speaking at ahead of the rally, NRM district Woman MP flag bearer Agnes Kirabo, said, “Luwero has always been at the heart of NRM’s vision for Uganda. Today, we reaffirm our commitment to the President and our shared mission to continue the development journey of our country.”
Several NRM Supporters in Luwero this radio spoke to expressed excitement about the campaign, saying it would help consolidate community support and strengthen their engagement with national development programs. One local farmer from Bombo remarked, “It feels good to see our voices being heard and to participate in shaping Uganda’s future.”
The NRM campaign launch is scheduled for this afternoon and officials say today’s mobilization in Luwero is part of broader campaign plan to ensure strong grassroots participation nationwide.
